 ISPA Expo 2008 - March 12-15, 2008, Baltimore, MD. It was announced recently at the annual Open Systems Partner Conference that Response Computer Group was the top reseller for the 2006 to 2007 year. See an online version here. Email/Web Hosting Upgrade- In the last few months we have been working to improve features of the mail server. We are in the process of upgrading the mail server to a newer version. We are taking every precaution necessary to ensure a smooth and trouble free upgrade. Currently when sending mail, most of our customers have what’s called a reverse lookup to the client/sender. We look to see where you are sending mail from and we allow or disallow the sending of the mail depending on your IP address. This has been an easy way of screening the senders but it has created some problems. Typically, we add an entire network to the “allowed senders” list. This method is less secure and is less reliable. If your network does not have a static IP address you may receive errors while sending mail because your IP has changed and is no longer in the allowed list. To improve security and reliability RCG has decided to change the way we screen mail senders. You will now require SMTP Authentication while sending mail. This will increase security and decrease errors while sending. Please see Email SMTP config for instructions. This mail system change will take effect on April 11, 2007. Please be sure to have your mail client updated to ensure trouble free service. Phone Systems -RCG is now an authorized Facet Phone reseller. Facet Phone is a state of the art business telephone system that you will never out grow. It is a software based PBX that runs on industry standard servers. Features include automated attendant, caller id, call recording, call reporting, automatic call distribution, voice mail to email/text message/cell phone, and much more! Click here for more info. End User Conference Information - Conference will be held from October 8th through October 10th, 2008  RCG eForms Now Includes Document Archiving The latest release of our eForms product for OSAS now includes automatic archiving of reports and forms to Adobe PDF files. Also recently added is an interface to hylafax, a free open-source fax server product available for Linux/Unix.
