Features & Enhancements

• The product is immediately available for OSAS versions 6.1x and higher. Please call if you have a need for earlier versions. We have many successful installs ranging from OSAS version 4.1 to current.
• Selection of e-mail, fax at the output device selection prompt.
• New database to store additional e-mail & fax contacts for your Customers, Vendors, and Employees. The database allows assigning form types to each contact (ex. Invoice email contact, P.O. email contact, as well as custom forms). eForms combines this new database with your existing OSAS data, allowing you to choose from either when sending an email or fax.
• User Defined E-Mail & Fax Groups allow you to quickly send the same message to an entire group of recipients.
• Groups can be created using a powerful import tool from Customers, Vendors, or Employees. Allows user defined criteria to filter records (ex. Date Last Sale, Zip Code, YTD Sales Amount, etc.).
• Up to 99 attachments per e-mail or fax.
• Option to use SDSI's UnForm® product to prepare professional looking Invoices, Statements, P.O.'s as PDF file attachments.
• Each e-mail or fax contact can be setup to receive one of three formats: text file attachment, html in body of message or PDF file attachment. The contact can also be setup to request an acknowledgement of receipt. This lets the sender know that the recipient received and opened the e-mail message.
• Internet email works with dedicated as well as dialup Internet connections.
• Provides SMTP verification, this is required by many ISP's.
• The standard OSAS Print online Invoices & Purchase Orders functions can be enhanced to automatically e-mail or fax the appropriate contact.
• Automated Forms Routing (to email/fax/print) included for Standard OSAS Invoices, Statements, and Purchase Orders.  Routing of Custom forms easily added.
• Faxing options of "email to fax" using a subscription to eFax ($ 9.95/month) or VSI Fax software installed on your server. For more information about eFax please visit www.efax.com. VSI Fax information is available from www.esker.com.
• Faxing works with hylafax, a free open-source fax server solution available for Linux and Unix. Find more information at www.hylafax.org.
• Document Archiving feature automatically saves a fully-searchable pdf file copy of user-specified reports or forms to user-specified folders for later review. Batch invoices and statements can be archived to customer-specific folders for easy lookup.

UnForm available separately from www.synergetic-data.com provides additional functionality to our product. Instead of OSAS plain paper formatted Invoices, Statements, PO's eForms combined with UnForm will create a professional looking document that can be faxed or emailed as PDF attachment.

Economical 1-5 user pricing available.  This "skinny" version limits the use of Email/Fax to 5 OSAS users for half the regular cost.
